You have a real knack for giving each of your dragons a unique face and personality/expression that I don't see very often in sculpture. Very cool - and I like that their poses are very "realistic" or more relaxed. It makes them seem much more, well, real.
I just love how swoopy and twisty his body is! And the colors go together beautifully. All those scales look like they were a pain to make and place properly, but they add so much awesome to the whole look and feel of this guy that I'm thinkin' they were definitely worth it.
As long as it's not directly copying it should be ok What kinds of stuff, or freedoms, do you get to do in those kinds of classes btw? I never took a pottery or sculpture class when I was in school and I kind of wish I had
Thank you! Therenusual lay all assignments like... A box with texture or something with texture and something added after firing....sometimes you get artists choice though....they just got the pottery class as an option this year
